Why Dadvice was built
Dadvice started with one father's wish: to leave something lasting, interactive, and unmistakably his for his son.
Stories and letters over twenty-five years
Over the past twenty five years of being with my children, I have either told fun stories or have written letters to my kids. Those moments — the jokes, the lessons, the quiet advice before bed — became the fabric of our relationship.
A book for my daughter
When it came time for my daughter to go to college, I wrote a book for her with sixty things she should know before graduating college. It was my way of making sure she had a piece of me with her, even when she was far from home.
A more lasting gift for my son
Now, with my son going to college, and technology advancing, I wanted to do something similar — but I wanted to make it more lasting and interactive. So I created Dadvice to allow my son to be able to talk to my AI agent in my voice and with my advice, aided by AI.
